![]() ![]() What if someone is using AMD display cards, you don't have PhsyX options to toggle. If the issue is with CPU processing, how does setting PhysX calculation to CPU remove the issue? Might mean I have a potato for gaming in a few years, but that's what low settings are for. Side note: I'm running a 1080TI on an 8700K, and I am gonna ride this BS pricing out as well. Its annoying to have to change, more so if you play multiple games like I do and need to change it back to the GPU all the time, but I've noticed that it smooths out allot of the graphical stutter and computation issues. Go into the control panel and set the PhysX settings to CPU. I found a tip on reddit that might improve the performance (It helped me with the lag in turn based): Originally posted by Aussie 760:I'm also running a Azata Hunter (Divine Hound = Best Pupper) and I understand what you're talking about. Honestly though, aside from it being hilariously powerful at times, I wouldn't recommend it because of these performance issues. ill advised with the price gouging but I'm really enjoying seeing this game struggle with my character build. Granted, I don't have a powerful computer anymore, it was top of the line when Guild Wars 2 came out, only upgraded the graphics card to a 970 at some point and building a new computer right now is. If someone gets a crit on a big boss everyone's ganging up on, the collective attacks of opportunity this generates, plus possible chain crits that generate more attacks of opportunity put my game into a slideshow and it's glorious. It's kind of funny that when I trip or knock down an enemy, them getting back up is basically a before-and-after set of freeze frames I have to go back through and analyze through the log to figure out what happened. It's honestly pretty amazing it can put up with it at all. ![]() I've not seen it actually crash from having too many calculations to run, but god can I feel it when I'm in a big fight. ![]() Between the aura, all the calculations for stacking all those extra feats, other buffs and auras from my Skald, Seelah, etc, it really brings this game to its knees. There's two animal companion mounts(mine and Seelah's), Aivu, the rest of the party, and anything I happen to summon. One of the Azata powers allows you to share all your teamwork feats with everyone within ~50ft. So, I'm playing a Hunter(bog standard), so I have a lot of teamwork feats. ![]()
